Creating segments in GardenIQ starts with querying your customer database. Building a query is basically like creating a big filter that returns matching customer profiles.

When you create a new segment from a query, GardenIQ applies the query conditions as rules, or criteria, for adding and removing profiles from the segment over time. This automates customer segments, freeing you up from the repetitive task of cleaning and updating these cohorts manually. Now you can spend up to 75% less time managing segments.

Set the marketing consent status at import for all contacts in a list. During import, a profile is created for each contact, which includes any custom fields from the list.
